“We must get there first, before our children’s lives are destroyed”
Don Antonio Mazzi
For several years we have been supporting projects aimed at the growth and development of young people
Founded in the early 1980’s at the behest of the presbyter Don Antonio Mazzi. The Exodus Foundation represents a simple presence in favor of people in need of help. Over the years, the Foundation has developed different areas of intervention, creating fruitful collaborations between the activities carried out within the “homes” and the educational and social health agencies in the area. Thus, new projects alongside the often-experimental residential communities, have been developed to respond to the most varied requests of help coming from families and/or institutions.
ESF was founded on February 25, 2005 with the aim of training competent educators willing to share difficult situations in different countries around the world. It is a non-profit organization operating in the field of education and training, in Italy and abroad. ESF operates nationally and internationally. In Italy it intervenes in contexts of social hardship and it mainly deals with training. While abroad it partners with entities already operating in the territories in the field of training for educators and educational animation. All that, acting in contexts of poverty and youth marginalization. In Madagascar and Honduras, it directly manages two shelter communities for children and young people living in situations of serious social hardship.
